Why Providentia?
I had been a commercial consultant for over 25 years and held my CIC and CPCU insurance designations when I decided to establish my own agency. Thinking about the foundations for the firm, the name "Providentia" came up - the Roman goddess of forethought, planning and prudence. That is exactly what insurance is about! Providentia would be built on the on the simple, yet important, mission to become the risk management extension for all of our clients.
I've been fortunate in my career to have clients who have become my friends and to be able to see their companies survive and thrive through both rough and good times. Knowing that we've placed a well structured insurance program that will shield them from a devastating financial impact after a claim is our sense of accomplishment. Put simply, this is my "why".
